1995 Kia Credos – What kind of Alpine car stereo is that?
And how do I program the clock and radio? My driver’s manual’s destroyed by water, and I just put a new battery into it and lost all the settings. There is no model number of the stereo on the stereo, it just has ‘Alpine’ logo. Please help! I’m on a road trip and lost the radio. Hoping to get an answer by the next rest stop internet cafe. Thanks
The thing is the stereo has no serial number on it. I have to assume it’s the standard issue for that make and model for that year. Is it possible there could be more than one standard issue car stereo by Alpine for that year?

If you want something like the physic circle board by Zerner and Farber:

Get a round piece of wood. If you cant, use a round piece of foam core board.

Print out the images you want to use on the board, as well as the alphabet, and numbers. You will need to either use a laser printer or make color copies at the copy store (The printer ink will run and smear when you try to decoupage)

You can also get preprinted alphabets and numbers at the craft store in the scrap book store (Stickers as well as precut paper)

Use your imagination when it comes to decorating the board – pick out images which are meaningful to you – or get images from tarot cards (you can down load free deck images: http://altreligion.about.com/od/tarotima ges/Tarot_Images_and_art.htm

Make sure you use a good decoupage medium like modge podge, and after it dries, use several thin coats of clear varnish.

If you are able to use wood and are very handy, you could wood burn your designs. But this requires wood burning tools as well aswell as knowing how to print really well.

You can also paint your designs onto your board, if you have a steady hand, or stencil them.

If you want cheap and easy – use cardboard poster and perm. markers.

should I feel bad because I didn't go w/ my family?
They dropped off my little sibs at my granma’s house and let me stay at home alone with the dog. I mean, I don’t feel good and I have really bad allergies out there this month…. I just feel a little sad, just a little bit, that my parents and elder sister are going out together to a Arabian Nights without me and they probably won’t do this kind of thing again for a long time.

Timber Falls (2007) IMDB rating: 5.50 Plot: Mike and his girlfriend Sheryl travel from Virginia to Lake Kimbrabow State Park in West Virginia to spend the weekend hiking and camping in the woods. If a 2-storey house has been built, but not concreted on the second floor..?
If a 2-storey house has been built, but not concreted on the second floor, and you have a shower upstairs alot, is it true that the water then goes into the pipe and touches the timber and it will crack and the floor will eventually fall down?

My house just got built and I’m scared about this problem.

The floor will never fall down. If you had a severe leak, and the wood rotted out, etc, could be, but you would know because you would see mildew spots on the first floor ceiling. In some cases, if the pipe is ran through a hole in the wood, and the diameter of the hole is not large enough for the pipe, can cause irritating knocking/ noise when you run the water.

The drain pipe leads downstairs, usually inside a wall and the water is disposed of.

No worries- water is in pipe does not go on wood. If it is new it will last ur lifetime mostly. I have a 50 yr plus home and no trouble with upstairs water. the only chance I think is if a pipe froze and busted but that is a far cry from it ever doing that. Anyway ins. would cover the damage- but not the pipe repair- I know I am a ins. Agent.

In any event, in my view it is not wise to use vegetation as an indicator except in the broadest of terms. There are just too many things can affect vegetation.
Unless the ground is completely impervious to air, eg it is of thick viscose clay or of very dense peat, over the timescale that you describe, anything organic (including a body) would have degraded a great deal (rotted away) and largely because of moisture loss, it would have lost the larger part of its volume. This would certainly be the case if the surrounding ground is of ordinary soil and especially so if it were of looser materials. In this case then, unless the body is contained in something rigid that retained its shape and size whilst the contents shrank, or it was buried at a very great depth and if in the intervening years the ground has not otherwise been disturbed or changed, one might expect to notice a hollow or indentation caused by settlement of the ground as the volume of the body reduced.
If in your searches you notice any such indentations, a technique you might try that could save some digging is based on the fact that ground that has been disturbed by digging beyond the depth of a spade blade, for a long time remains detectably less dense than ground surrounding it that has not. To test for this effect use a slim steel rod and probe the ground within the indentation and compare that with the feel of the probe pushed into the ground outside the indentation. Even after the passing of the time you have described, if the ground within the indentation has been dug to a significant depth, the difference should be detectable. Its not a guaranteed method but it may help.

if robocop was ‘female’ this time round – would guys take the flick seriously or would it totaly disown itself from the originals ?

ALSO – if you are in your late 20s early 30s and grew up around those movies, remember when Robocop 3 came out ?

there was a mixed reaction but OVERALL – ppl slated that flick.

fast forward to 2009,. Robocop 3 makes for excellent – time killing sci fi viewing, catch story, great action sequences and sfx too !

Same could be said about Predator 2 – it was never gonna be easy matching the first one but fast forward to 2009, and now Predator 2 is like an iconic sci fi flick (equally liked as the first).

Can they make another Robocop flick, and isn’t the movie sci fi character too big not to ever make another apperance on our big screens ?

would u like to see another Robocop flick – if so what would you like the story line to be like, setting, environment and possible foes/nemesis , should he have new powers/guns/weapons abilities ? or be faithful to his original old self ?

Funnily enough they are actually making one and it is due out in 2010. It’s a remake or another reboot or re imagining or whatever and I also think they are planning a predator 3 but I might be wrong about that. But they are definitely making a new Robocop, it’ll probably be crap but I’ll watch it anyway!

6th form or college………?
What do i choose? either i go to my schools 6th form where i need 5 C+ GCSE’s or i can go to college in the same city and i only need 4 C+ GCSE’s. The college i want to go to offers alot more opportunities and courses whereas my school doesn’t have much choice. I dunno…i think id prefer to go to the college…but all my friends are back at the school…and my boyfriend doesn’t like the idea of me going somewhere else cuz hes scared of us not being able to see each other and it ruining our relationship and hes scared i might find someone else but i wouldn’t, i love my boyfriend so much…also the college does look fun and better for me and i think one of my friends is planning on going there but i don’t know what he will be taking. Im very shy and quiet alot of the time so it can be difficult to make friends alot of the time :/ I dunno. What should i do? College or 6th form….
